Rich Carnation
FOUNDING DIRECTOR
Rich Carnation has a long history in Sonoma County. After growing up in Forestville and attending El Molino High School, Rich went on to graduate from Brigham Young University where he studied Financial Services and has completed the California School Board Association master’s in governance. Rich is currently the CEO of Windsor based Waterworks Industries Inc.
With him, Rich brings many years of business experience as an entrepreneur. He has filed for various patents and trademarks across several industries, having been awarded two in the financial sector.
Rich was first elected to the Windsor Unified School District Board in November 2018, re-elected in 2022, and has served as both President and Vice President. He was also a member of Windsor’s first General Planning Advisory Committee.
Rich is currently serving a four-year term as the CSBA Region 3 Representative to the NCS CIF Board of Managers overseeing all NCS CIF interscholastic sports management.
Rich played a crucial role in building the first football field at Windsor High School. As the founding Head Wrestling Coach for all but two of the school’s first twenty-five years, he led Windsor Wrestling to seven North Coast Section Championships. He received several “Coach of the Year” awards and mentored numerous wrestling champions, many of whom went on to achieve great success at the collegiate level.
