Cindy Gallaher
FOUNDING CHAIRWOMEN
Cindy Gallaher is a Sonoma County native and co-founder with her husband Bill of several successful development and real estate companies including Gallaher Construction, OSL Construction, Gallaher Companies, and the was previous owner of Oakmont Senior Living. Over several decades, the Gallahers have developed more than 6,500 units of housing throughout the Western states, many of those in Sonoma County. Their portfolio includes multi-family housing, single family housing, and luxury senior living.
Cindy has been deeply involved in every aspect of design for their numerous projects. Initially, when their home building business focused on one home at a time, she personally chose the architectural style, landscaping, and all interior finishes. As the portfolio has expanded over the years, she now collaborates with their team of in-house designers, architects, and landscape architects.
Cindy has a strong passion for philanthropic endeavors. Their most recent projects in this realm have been the rebuilding of 100 Coffey Park homes that were destroyed in the 2017 Tubbs Fire in which all profits were donated to local concerns including the construction of the new Sonoma Marin Boys & Girls Club in Roseland, the construction of Anova Center for Education for autistic children, and the rescue of and rebuild effort of the Athena House & Hope Village residential treatment campus serving women and children. Additional philanthropic endeavors have included: the founding and operation of the nonprofit North Bay Adoptions, major donations to the Redwood Empire Food Bank, the Elsie Allen Scholarship Foundation, and the Sonoma Marin Boys & Girls Club.
Cindy and Bill have a vibrant family, including five children and five grandchildren. Outside of her professional endeavors, Cindy finds joy in cooking, gardening, exploring new places through travel, and cherishing moments with her grandchildren.
